SELMA Actress, Trinity Simone To Make Guest Appearance At Big Dreams Concert

Trinity Simone is 12 years old, but those who know her well reference her as an “old soul,” wise beyond her years. She is a bright, intelligent young girl, who enjoys life, as can be seen by the infectious smile that she wears.

Trinity caught the “acting bug” at a young age, and when her parents recognized her talents, they encouraged and supported her dreams to pursue acting. In Trinity’s short time as an actor, she has landed a few commercials, print ads, voiceovers, modeling debuts.

Her latest and greatest accomplishment was landing a role in the upcoming movie “Selma,” which is directed by Ava DuVernay and produced by Oprah Winfrey and Brad Pitt. She and  Big Dreams performer Jordan Rice each play one of the “four little girls” that was killed in the “16th Street Baptist Church” in Birmingham, Alabama. Trinity was extremely dedicated and committed to this role because it was one that was near and dear to her heart. She studies and is very passionate about black history, so she was very familiar with these little girls and had previously done extensive research on them. Her desire to put herself in the shoes of one of the little girls that was killed in this bombing was bittersweet. Her recollection of The Civil Rights Movement then and the events that are happening in America today looked a little too similar for her liking. Trinity is a “change agent” and wants to do her part to ensure that ALL Americans are treated equally…she seeks justice for all!
